Getting There

• Public Bus

  Start your journey at the main bus terminal in George Town, known as the Komtar Bus Terminal. Look for the bus numbered 101 or 102, which heads towards Batu Ferringhi. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the most updated timings. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the Batu Ferringhi stop. Once you arrive, exit the bus and walk towards Jalan Batu Ferringhi. Ferringhi Bay is located at No.1, Jalan Batu Ferringhi, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

• Trishaw

  If you prefer a more local experience, you can hire a trishaw from various points around George Town. Negotiate the fare with the rider before starting your journey. Ask to be taken to Ferringhi Bay, and enjoy the scenic ride through the streets of Penang. The riders are usually familiar with the area and can drop you off directly at Ferringhi Bay, which is located at No.1, Jalan Batu Ferringhi.

• Walking

  If you are located near the waterfront in George Town, you can start your walking journey towards Ferringhi Bay. Head northwest towards Jalan Penang, then turn left onto Jalan Perak. Continue straight until you reach the coastal road, where you can follow the path north towards Batu Ferringhi. It is a long walk of approximately 15-20 kilometers, so it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. The walk will take around 3-4 hours, and you will be rewarded with beautiful views along the way.
