If you are starting from the heart of Chinatown, a good landmark to begin your journey is the famous Khoo Kongsi, located at 18 Cannon Square. From Khoo Kongsi, head east on Cannon Street until you reach the junction with Chulia Street. Turn right onto Chulia Street and continue straight for about 300 meters. Look for a small lane on your left called Armenian Street. Walk down Armenian Street, and you will find the Old Lady And The Monkey mural on the wall of a building on your right. It’s located at the corner of Armenian Street and Lebuh Pantai.

Bicycle
If you prefer riding a bicycle, you can rent one from the numerous bike rental shops in Chinatown. Begin your journey at the intersection of Penang Road and Chulia Street. Ride along Chulia Street heading east and turn left onto Armenian Street. The mural is located on your right side at the corner of Armenian Street and Lebuh Pantai, approximately a 10-minute ride from Penang Road.

Although the bus system may not be as convenient for short distances, you can catch the local bus service that stops near the edge of Chinatown. Look for Bus number 101 or 102 at the nearest bus stop to your location and ride until you reach the stop at Lebuh Pantai. From there, it’s just a short walk to the mural.
