Car
From Kinabalu National Park, head southeast on the main road (Jalan Kinabalu) towards the town of Kundasang. Continue driving for about 45-50 minutes until you reach the junction for the E1 highway. Take a right onto the E1 and follow the signs towards Kota Kinabalu. After approximately 1 hour, take the exit towards Kota Kinabalu city center. Once in the city, continue on Jalan Tun Razak, and you will find Kota Kinabalu City Park on your right. Parking is available near the park entrance.

To get to Kota Kinabalu City Park from Kinabalu National Park using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from the Park to the town of Kundasang. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. From Kundasang, catch a bus towards Kota Kinabalu city; the journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Kota Kinabalu, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest bus stop to Jalan Tun Razak. The park is within walking distance from there, just a 5-10 minute walk.
