If you're driving, head towards the Kinabalu Park Entrance on the main road from Ranau or Kota Kinabalu. Once you arrive at the park entrance, pay the entrance fee (approximately RM 15 per person for Malaysians and RM 30 for non-Malaysians). After entering, follow the signs leading to the Mt Kinabalu Viewing Platform. The drive from the park entrance to the viewing platform is about 30 minutes. There is ample parking available at the platform.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Kota Kinabalu to Ranau. Buses depart from the Inanam Bus Terminal, and the fare is typically around RM 30. Upon arrival in Ranau, you can hire a taxi to take you to the Kinabalu Park Entrance (approximately RM 50-70). Once you reach the entrance, you will also need to pay the entrance fee (RM 15 for Malaysians, RM 30 for non-Malaysians). After entering the park, taxis or local shuttle services can take you to the Mt Kinabalu Viewing Platform for an additional fee (around RM 30-50).
