Getting There

  • Car

    From any point in Kinabalu National Park, head towards the main road leading out of the park. Follow the signs towards Ranau. Once you reach the junction at the main road, turn left to continue towards Ranau. Continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Jalan Libang Marakau. Turn right onto Jalan Libang Marakau and drive straight for about 5 kilometers. The Kokob Rafflesia Conservation Garden will be located on your right. Ensure you have a GPS or map app for accurate navigation.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from the Kinabalu Park entrance to Ranau. Buses typically run every hour and the fare is around RM 10. Once you arrive at the Ranau bus terminal, you will need to hire a taxi or a ride-sharing service to take you to the Kokob Rafflesia Conservation Garden. The taxi ride will cost approximately RM 20-30 and will take around 15 minutes to reach your destination.

  • Walking (after public transport)

    If you arrive at the Ranau bus terminal and prefer to walk, you can navigate to Kokob Rafflesia Conservation Garden on foot. However, please note that it is about 5 kilometers away, which may take approximately 1 hour to walk. Head south on Jalan Libang Marakau. Keep walking straight, and you will find the garden on your right side. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated.
