If you are driving to Poring Canopy Walkway from Kinabalu National Park, start by heading south on the main road out of the park. Follow the signs towards Ranau. The journey will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Ranau, look for the sign for Poring Hot Springs and turn onto Jalan Poring. Continue on this road for about 5 km until you reach the entrance for Poring Canopy Walkway. There is usually parking available for visitors, but be aware that there might be an entrance fee for the canopy walkway.

Public Transportation
To reach Poring Canopy Walkway using public transportation, you can take a bus from the main bus terminal in Kota Kinabalu to Ranau. The bus ride typically takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Ranau, look for a local taxi or minibus that will take you to Poring Hot Springs. The fare for the taxi or minibus is usually around RM 20 to RM 30. Upon arrival at the Poring Hot Springs area, you will find signage directing you to the Canopy Walkway entrance, which is about a 10-minute walk from the drop-off point.

If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Kinabalu National Park or Ranau to take you to Poring Canopy Walkway. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually costs around RM 60 to RM 80 for a one-way trip from Kinabalu National Park. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Ensure you confirm the taxi will wait for you if you plan to return to your starting point or arrange for another taxi to pick you up.
