Walking
If you are starting from Kota Bharu's central market, Pasar Besar Siti Khadijah, exit the market and head east onto Jalan Siti Khadijah. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Jalan Sultan Ibrahim. Turn left onto Jalan Sultan Ibrahim and walk for another 500 meters. You will see Dataran Muhammadi on your right, just before you reach the junction with Jalan Kebun Sultan.

Starting from Kota Bharu's main bus station, take the Jalan Long Yunus road heading northeast. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Jalan Sultan Ibrahim. Continue straight for approximately 800 meters. Dataran Muhammadi will be on your left, just past the intersection with Jalan Kebun Sultan. Ensure you follow the bicycle lanes where available for safety.

From the main bus station, take any local bus heading towards Jalan Sultan Ibrahim. Inform the driver you are heading to Dataran Muhammadi, which is a known landmark. Once you arrive, disembark at the nearest stop to Jalan Kebun Sultan. Walk towards Jalan Sultan Ibrahim, and you will see Dataran Muhammadi directly ahead. It’s a short walk of about 200 meters.
