Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Kota Bharu Central Market (Pasar Besar Kota Bharu). Exit the market and head south on Jalan Sultan Ibrahim. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Jalan Padang Garong, then turn left. Walk along Jalan Padang Garong until you reach the traffic circle (Dataran Siti Khadijah). From the traffic circle, take the exit toward Jalan Kampung Pulau Hilir. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you see the sign for Jambatan Kampung Pulau Hilir. Denai Sungai Pengkalan Datu will be located just off Lrg Pulau Raja.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the Kota Bharu Bus Terminal, take bus number 20, which heads towards Kampung Pulau Hilir. Inform the bus driver that you are going to Jambatan Kampung Pulau Hilir. The bus will drop you off near the intersection of Jalan Kampung Pulau Hilir. Walk a short distance along the road where you will find Denai Sungai Pengkalan Datu, just off Lrg Pulau Raja.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the Kota Bharu Central Market. Head south on Jalan Sultan Ibrahim, then turn left onto Jalan Padang Garong. Continue to the Dataran Siti Khadijah traffic circle and take the exit towards Jalan Kampung Pulau Hilir. Cycle straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the sign for Jambatan Kampung Pulau Hilir. Denai Sungai Pengkalan Datu is just off Lrg Pulau Raja.
