If you are starting from the Kota Bharu Central Market (Pasar Besar Kota Bharu), head south on Jalan Sultan Mohamad towards Jalan Kebun Sultan. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Kota. Turn left onto Jalan Kota and walk straight until you reach the Kelantan River. The river should be visible on your right side.

From the Kota Bharu town center, rent a bicycle and head towards Jalan Sultan Mohamad. Cycle south until you reach Jalan Kebun Sultan. Take a right turn onto Jalan Kota and keep cycling straight. You will eventually see the Kelantan River on your right. It is a pleasant ride with some local scenery.

Take a bus from the Kota Bharu Bus Terminal (Terminal Bas Kota Bharu) that heads towards the city center. Get off at the nearest stop after you see the Central Market. From there, follow the walking directions to the Kelantan River as mentioned above.
