Walking
If you are in the city center of Kuala Terengganu, start at the Pasar Besar Kedai Payang. From the market, head east on Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin. Continue walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the large green dome of Istana Maziah, which will be visible as you approach. The entrance to Istana Maziah is located on your left side. The entire walk should take around 15-20 minutes.

Public Transport (Bus)
Take a bus from the Kuala Terengganu Bus Terminal. Look for buses heading towards Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin. Once on the bus, inform the driver you want to get off at Istana Maziah. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, disembark and walk a short distance back towards the entrance of Istana Maziah, which should be visible from the bus stop.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in the city. Start from the city center and follow Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin, cycling towards the east. The distance is about 1 kilometer, and it should take you around 5-10 minutes to reach Istana Maziah. There are bike lanes available, making it a pleasant ride. Once you arrive, you can park your bicycle at the designated area near the entrance.
