If you are starting from Jonker Street, head east along Jalan Hang Jebat towards Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Jalan Tukang Besi. Turn left onto Jalan Tukang Besi and walk straight for about 10 minutes. The Melaka Straits Cultural Museum will be on your right at number 17.

You can catch the Melaka Bus (Route 17) from any major bus stop in Malacca. Board the bus and ride it until you reach the 'Dataran Pahlawan' stop. From there, walk towards Jalan Merdeka, and then turn onto Jalan Tukang Besi, walking straight for about 5 minutes until you see the museum located at 17, Jalan Tukang Besi.
