If you are starting from Sandakan Town, head towards Jalan Leila and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Jalan C. S. Wong. Continue walking down this road until you reach the traffic lights. Cross the road here. After crossing, turn right onto Jalan Cecily. The Puu Jih Syh Temple will be ahead on your left after a short walk.
