Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Teluk Intan. From major cities in the Southern Region, such as Johor Bahru or Malacca, take the North-South Expressway (E1) and follow the signs to Exit 160 for Teluk Intan. Once on the A139 road, continue straight until you enter the town. Look for Jalan Panggung, where you'll find parking nearby the Anson Bridge, which is located at 36000 Teluk Intan, Perak.

• Bus

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from major towns like Ipoh or Kuala Lumpur to Teluk Intan. Buses such as Unititi Express or Transnasional operate services to Teluk Intan. Once you arrive at the Teluk Intan bus terminal, you can either walk about 1.5 km to Anson Bridge or take a local taxi. The bridge is located on Jalan Panggung, easily accessible from the terminal.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from wherever you are in Teluk Intan. Make sure to mention Anson Bridge (Jambatan Keretapi Lama Teluk Anson) to the driver. Taxi fares may vary, but expect to pay around RM10-15 for a short trip within the town.

• Walking

  Once you’re in Teluk Intan, if you’re close to the town center, walking to Anson Bridge can be a pleasant option. From the bus terminal, head southwest on Jalan Pasar until you reach Jalan Panggung, where the bridge is located. The walk should take about 20-30 minutes.
