If you are driving from Kuala Tahan, head towards the main road leading out of the village. Follow the signs for Taman Negara National Park and keep to the main road until you reach the entrance of the park. After paying the park entrance fee (approximately RM 1 for Malaysians and RM 5 for foreigners), continue along the road until you reach the park headquarters. From there, take the trail leading towards Teras Waterfall. The hike will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring enough water.

To reach Teras Waterfall using public transportation, first take a bus or taxi to Kuala Tahan. Once in Kuala Tahan, you can either walk to the park entrance or take a local taxi. Upon entering the park (entrance fee applies), head to the park headquarters. At the headquarters, inquire about guided tours to Teras Waterfall. Guided tours typically cost around RM 50-100 per person and include transportation and a guide who will assist you on the hike. The trek to the waterfall will take around 1 to 1.5 hours.
