Seaplane
The most common way to reach Veligandu from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé is via seaplane. Upon arrival at MLE, proceed to the Crown & Champa Resorts (CCR) Booth #B9, where a representative will assist with check-in for your seaplane transfer. A shuttle will then take you to the seaplane terminal, a 10-minute ride away. The seaplane journey to Veligandu takes approximately 20 minutes, offering stunning aerial views of the Maldivian islands and reefs. Seaplane transfers typically cost between $290 to $700 per person for a round trip. Note that seaplanes operate only during daylight hours (06:00 to 18:00). Be sure to book in advance and confirm your flight details with the resort at least 72 hours before arrival.

Speedboat
Alternatively, you can take a speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Veligandu. After clearing immigration and customs, head to the Crown & Champa Resorts “CCR” Booth #B9 for assistance. The speedboat journey takes approximately 60 minutes. Veligandu has scheduled speedboat transfers twice daily: from the airport to Veligandu at 1030h and 1645h, and from Veligandu to the airport at 0700h and 1530h. If you miss these, guests have the option of staying at Champa Central Hotel in Male' or wait at the airport. A one-way speedboat transfer typically costs around USD 310 per adult. Private speedboat transfers are also available for a more personalized touch.

A public ferry is also available from Male Airport to Rasdhoo. The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and costs $45. From the Rasdhoo jetty, you will need to arrange for a speedboat transfer to Veligandu, which is a short 10-minute ride. The speedboat transfer from Rasdhoo to Veligandu will cost approximately $50.
