The most convenient way to reach Maamendhoo is by taking a domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) to either Kooddoo Airport (GKK) for Maamendhoo in Gaafu Alifu Atoll, or Kadhdhoo Airport for Maamendhoo in Laamu Atoll. From Kooddoo, a short 5-minute speedboat ride will take you to Maamendhoo. From Kadhdhoo, you can take a 25-minute speedboat or a 35-40 minute ferry. A domestic flight from Malé to Kooddoo costs $190 - $410. Speedboat transfers average $30 per hour.
