Seaplane
The most common and scenic way to reach OUTRIGGER Maldives Maafushivaru is via seaplane from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Upon arrival at MLE, an OUTRIGGER representative will greet you and escort you to the Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) terminal. The seaplane transfer takes approximately 25 minutes, offering breathtaking aerial views of the atolls. Seaplanes operate only during daylight hours. A round trip seaplane transfer costs approximately USD 445 per adult and USD 270 per child (2-11 years). Infants under 2 years are free. Note that luggage allowance is 20 kg checked and 5 kg hand luggage per person; excess baggage fees are paid directly to the seaplane operator.
