Seaplane
The most common and scenic way to reach Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa is via seaplane from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Upon arrival at MLE, a resort representative will guide you to the Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) seaplane terminal, a short bus ride away. After check-in, relax in the TMA lounge (US$45 per person for a maximum of 3 hours) before your 25-minute flight. The seaplane offers breathtaking aerial views of the Maldivian atolls. A round trip seaplane transfer costs approximately US$390 per adult and US$195 per child (2-11.99 years), inclusive of all taxes. Baggage allowance is 20 kg for checked luggage and 5 kg for hand luggage, with excess charged at US$5 per kg. Note that seaplanes operate only during daylight hours (06:00 to 18:00).

An alternative to the seaplane is a domestic flight from Velana International Airport to the nearest local airport, followed by a speedboat transfer to Vilamendhoo Island.
