Seaplane
Upon arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé, an Alila representative will greet you and escort you to the seaplane check-in counter. After check-in, relax in a dedicated airport lounge before boarding a Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) seaplane for a 45-minute scenic flight to Alila Kothaifaru. As a shared transfer, the seaplane may make a stop at another resort en route. The resort will book your transfers based on your international flight arrival/departure. The round-trip seaplane transfer costs $670 per adult (12+ years) and $400 per child (2-11 years); infants under 2 travel free.

Domestic Flight and Speedboat
Alternatively, upon arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE), an Alila representative will escort you to the domestic terminal for a flight to Ifuru Airport (IFU). The domestic flight takes approximately 40 minutes, but may include a stopover, extending the travel time to 90 minutes. Upon arrival at Ifuru Airport, a speedboat will transfer you to Alila Kothaifaru, a 30-minute ride. The resort will arrange the domestic flight and speedboat transfers based on your international flight timings. Contact the resort for specific costs, which are generally lower than the seaplane option.
