Seaplane
The most common way to reach Veligandu is via seaplane from Velana International Airport (VIA). After clearing immigration and customs, head to the Crown & Champa Resorts “CCR” Booth #B9, where the airport team will assist with check-in. A 10-minute shuttle will then take you to the Seaplane Terminal. The seaplane transfer to Veligandu takes approximately 20 minutes. Seaplanes operate from 6:00 to 18:00. A roundtrip seaplane transfer typically costs between $290 and $700 per person. Luggage allowance is usually 20 kg per person, with extra charges for excess weight.

Speedboat
Alternatively, speedboat transfers are available from Velana International Airport, taking about 60 minutes. After clearing immigration, head to the Crown & Champa Resorts “CCR” Booth #B9 for assistance. Veligandu has scheduled speedboat transfers twice daily: from the airport to Veligandu at 10:30 and 16:45, and from Veligandu to the airport at 07:00 and 15:30. A scheduled speedboat transfer costs USD 310 per adult and USD 155 per child. Private speedboat transfers are also available for a more personalized experience.
