Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Birgu, make your way towards the main square, known as the 'Piazza Vittoriosa'. Start by heading north on Triq Sant' Angela. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Triq San Lawrenz. Turn left onto Triq San Lawrenz and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. Follow the waterfront path until you reach the end of the promenade. From there, you will see signs for the local bus stop. Board the bus heading towards Siġġiewi.

    After arriving at the bus stop, take bus number 83 or 84, which will take you towards Siġġiewi. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to keep track of the stops. Get off at the stop named 'Siġġiewi'. After disembarking, you will be a short walk away from Girgenti Palace. Head up Triq Il-Knisja, which leads you towards the palace. Follow this road until you reach the entrance of Girgenti Palace.

    Once you arrive in Siġġiewi, after getting off the bus, walk towards the upper part of the village. Continue on Triq Il-Knisja and look for signs indicating the direction to Girgenti Palace.
