Walking
Start your journey at the central square of Birgu, known as St. Lawrence Square. From the square, head north towards the main street, Triq Sant' Anġlu. Continue walking straight until you reach the waterfront area at the Grand Harbour. You'll see the stunning views of Valletta across the water. Now, turn left and walk along the waterfront promenade, keeping the water on your right. Follow the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. From there, you can take the ferry to Valletta, which operates frequently. The ferry ride takes about 10 minutes and offers beautiful views of the harbor. Once you arrive in Valletta, disembark and head towards the Upper Barracca Gardens, which is a short walk from the ferry terminal. From the gardens, continue walking along the path that leads down to Lower Barracca. The park is located at the bottom of the gardens and is easily accessible from this path.
