Walking
St. John's Co-Cathedral is centrally located on Republic Street in Valletta. From City Gate, walk straight along Republic Street, the main thoroughfare. The cathedral will be on your left, approximately a 5-minute walk. From the Upper Barrakka Gardens, walk down Merchants Street towards Republic Street; turn left onto Republic Street, and the cathedral will be on your right. No costs involved.
Public Transport
Valletta is the central terminus for buses throughout Malta. From the main bus terminal just outside City Gate, walk straight along Republic Street, the main thoroughfare.
