Walking
Start at the main square in Birgu, known as 'Piazza Vittoriosa'. From the square, head towards the waterfront along 'Triq Sant' Anna', following the direction of the marina. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the end of the promenade. Once you reach the end, you will see a set of steps leading up to the upper level. Climb the steps, and at the top, turn left onto 'Triq San Lawrenz'. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with 'Triq Sant' Orsla'. Turn right onto 'Triq Sant' Orsla' and continue walking. Upper Barrakka will be on your right at the address 292 Triq Sant' Orsla, Il-Belt Valletta.
Public Transport
From Birgu, head to the nearest bus stop located at 'Birgu, St. Angelo'. Take bus number 85 or 133 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Valletta, City Gate' stop. From there, walk towards 'Republic Street' and continue straight until you reach 'St. John’s Co-Cathedral'. Turn left onto 'Triq Sant' Orsla', and you will find Upper Barrakka at 292 Triq Sant' Orsla, Il-Belt Valletta on your right.
