Car
From Blue Grotto, drive towards Qrendi. Start by heading east on the main road (Triq il-Qrendi) for about 1.5 km. Look for signs indicating the direction to Qrendi. Once you reach the village, continue following the signs for 'Ghar ic-Cawl'. Park at the designated parking area near the entrance of the bay.
Public Transportation
From Blue Grotto, take bus number 74 towards Valletta. Get off at the Qrendi stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Maghlaq Bay. Head south on Triq il-Qrendi, then turn onto Triq Ghar ic-Cawl, following the signs to the bay. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.
Walking
If you are already in Blue Grotto and prefer walking, head south on the coastal path that leads to Qrendi. The walk is approximately 2.5 km and offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. Follow the coastline until you reach the area near Ghar ic-Cawl, where you can access Maghlaq Bay. Make sure to bring water and wear sunscreen.
