Walking

Biskuttin Gardens is located on Vjal Ir-Re Dwardu VII in Valletta. From the Valletta City Gate and the Triton Fountain, head east along Vjal Ir-Re Dwardu VII. The gardens will be on your left, a short walk from the main entrance to the city.

Public Transport

The Valletta bus terminus is located near the City Gate, a short walk from Biskuttin Gardens. Numerous bus routes serve Valletta, connecting it to various parts of Malta. From the bus terminus, walk east on Vjal Ir-Re Dwardu VII to reach the gardens. A single bus journey costs €2.50 in the summer and €2.00 in the winter.

Taxi/Ride-Sharing

Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available throughout Malta. A taxi from other locations in Valletta to Biskuttin Gardens would be a short ride, costing approximately €10-€20, depending on the distance and time of day.

Parking

Biskuttin Gardens, also known as Il-Biskuttin, is a peaceful retreat in the heart of Valletta, Malta. This garden provides a serene escape from the bustling city streets with its well-maintained lawns, colorful flowerbeds, and shady trees. Biskuttin Gardens is not only a place for relaxation but also a reflection of Valletta's commitment to preserving green spaces amidst its rich historical and cultural heritage.The area's name, Biskuttin, is believed to have originated from its resemblance to a long pastry or as a continuation of the Mall gardens, referred to as 'boseottino' (little garden). The gardens are also home to the bronze statue of Christ the King by Antonio Sciortino, commemorating the XXIV Eucharistic Congress held in Malta in 1913. The gardens were embellished after the war with new paving, lights and benches.
