Casa Bernard: A Glimpse into Maltese Nobility

In 1723, Dr. Salvatore Bernard, physician to the Grand Master of Malta, resided here, giving the house its name. The Bernard family, a lineage of doctors, called it home until the 20th century.In 1993, Georges and Josette Magri, both retired teachers, acquired the palazzo and embarked on a meticulous restoration, transforming Casa Bernard into a 'very personal museum'. The couple's dedication is evident in every detail, from the barrel-vaulted hallway and family chapel to the dining room, drawing rooms, library, and main bedroom.
