St. George's Square is centrally located in Valletta, approximately halfway down Republic Street. From City Gate, walk straight down Republic Street; the square will be on your left, in front of the Grandmaster's Palace. No costs are involved.

Valletta is the main terminus for Malta's public transport bus network. Numerous bus routes operate to and from Valletta, stopping at the main bus terminal just outside City Gate. From the terminal, walk straight down Republic Street; the square will be on your left. A single bus journey ticket costs €1.50-€2.00.
