From the Gozo Ferry Terminal at Mġarr Harbour, take bus 301, 303, 322, or 323 towards Ghajnsielem. Get off at the 'Chambray' bus stop, a short walk from the fort's entrance. A single bus ticket costs €2.50.

From Mġarr Harbour, follow the road uphill towards Ghajnsielem. The walk to Fort Chambray takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Note that it is an uphill walk. Upon reaching the top of the harbour hill, a right turn leads to a belvedere with views over Comino and Malta.
