    Palazzo Falson is located within the walls of Mdina, also known as the Silent City. Once you enter Mdina through the main gate, follow Triq Villegaignon. The Palazzo Falson will be on your left. Mdina is relatively small and easy to navigate on foot.

    The closest bus stops to Mdina are located in Rabat, just outside the city walls. From the Rabat bus terminus, walk towards Mdina Gate, the main entrance to the city. Once inside the city, follow Triq Villegaignon, and Palazzo Falson will be on your left. A single bus ticket costs €2.60 and is valid for all-day travel.

    There is no public parking available inside Mdina. Several car parks are located just outside the city walls in Rabat. Parking is limited and can be challenging during peak season. Parking is available next to the children's playground near Mdina Gate. There are also parking spaces in the ditch under the fortifications of Mdina. The Falsone family, prominent in Mdina's municipal affairs, were among its early residents. In 1531, the Palazzo even hosted the Grand Master of the Knights of St John, Philippe Villiers de L'Isle Adam. Later, Captain Olof Frederick Gollcher, a distinguished soldier and art collector, acquired the palazzo in the 20th century,renaming it 'The Norman House'.Today, Palazzo Falson is a historic house museum showcasing Captain Gollcher's extensive collection of art and antiques. Visitors can explore themed collections including paintings, furniture, valuable books, weaponry, jewelry, and oriental rugs. Highlights include a rare 10-hour pocket watch from the French Revolutionary period and examples of antique Maltese furniture.
