Walking
Palazzo Santa Sofia is located on Triq Santa Sofija, a short walk from Mdina's main attractions. From St Paul's Cathedral, walk northeast along Triq il-Villegaignon, then turn right onto Triq Santa Sofija. The palace will be on your left. There are no specific costs associated with approaching the palace.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus, disembark at the Rabat bus stop just outside Mdina's main gate. Walk through Howard Gardens towards the city gate, then proceed straight along Triq il-Villegaignon. Turn right onto Triq Santa Sofija. The palace will be on your left. Bus tickets cost €2.60 and are valid for all-day travel.
