Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Gzira, head towards the waterfront along the main road, Triq Gzira. Continue straight until you reach the Tigne Point area. From there, you will see the Sliema Promenade ahead. The walk takes about 30-40 minutes.
Public Transport
From Valletta, you can take several bus lines (13, 16, 202, 212, 225) to Sliema Promenade. The bus journey takes approximately 15 minutes. A single journey cash ticket costs €2.50 during the day and €3 at night. Alternatively, a direct ferry from Valletta to Sliema is available, costing €2 and taking 15 minutes.
Taxi/Ride-sharing
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Bolt are readily available in Malta. A taxi ride from Malta International Airport to Sliema costs approximately €20 and takes around 20 minutes. A short taxi trip within Sliema will likely cost between €8-€15, depending on the distance and traffic.
Parking
If driving, parking in Sliema can be challenging, especially on weekends. Several paid parking lots are available, including a multi-story car park in the center of Sliema. Standard parking rates are €2.30 for up to 1 hour, €4.60 for up to 2 hours, and a maximum daily fee of €12. Motorbikes can park all day for €1.50.
