Start at the Gzira waterfront, facing the sea. Head west along the promenade towards Sliema. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade at the Tigne Point shopping mall. From Tigne Point, turn left onto Triq it-Turisti and follow it towards the ferry terminal. Once you reach the ferry terminal, you can catch a ferry to Valletta. The ferry ride takes about 10 minutes and offers beautiful views of the harbor. Upon arriving in Valletta, disembark and head straight towards St. Mark Street. The Fortifications Interpretation Centre will be on your right, at the address VGX5+VM3, St Mark Street.
