From Gzira, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road, Triq Gzira. Take bus number 133 or 138 heading towards Valletta. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Birkirkara' (you will see signs for Birkirkara). From there, transfer to bus number 45, which will take you directly to Lija. Get off at the stop 'Lija' and walk a short distance to 20 M. Aguis, where the Lija Parish Church is located.

If you prefer to walk, start from the central area of Gzira and head towards the nearest bus stop on Triq Gzira. Once you reach the main road, you can continue walking straight towards Msida, then follow signs to Birkirkara. This route will take you along Triq il-Kunsill Nezjonali and then Triq il-Linja, eventually leading you to Lija. The total walking distance is approximately 6 kilometers and should take around 1.5 hours.
