From Hondoq Bay, head northwest on Triq Hondoq towards Triq Il-Luzzu. Continue on Triq Il-Luzzu for about 1 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq Il-Qala. After approximately 1.5 km, turn right onto Triq Xwejni. Follow this road for about 2 km until you reach the Xwejni Salt Pans. There is usually parking available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

From Hondoq Bay, walk to the nearest bus stop (located on Triq Il-Luzzu). Take the bus route 91 towards Valletta. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Xwejni' located near the salt pans.
