If you are starting from the Mdina Cathedral, exit the cathedral grounds and head towards the main streets of Mdina. Walk down the narrow street that leads you towards the main square. When you reach the square, turn right onto Triq Villegaignon. Continue walking straight for about 250 meters until you see the large, impressive Mdina Gate ahead of you. This route will take you directly to the entrance of Mdina Gate, where you can admire its grand architecture.

From the National Museum of Natural History, exit the museum and head west towards the main road. Turn left onto Triq Sant'Agata and follow it as it curves. After about 300 meters, you will reach the intersection with Triq Villegaignon. Turn left onto Triq Villegaignon, and continue straight until you see Mdina Gate directly in front of you. This path will provide you a scenic view of the area as you approach the gate.

If you are at the Mdina Dungeons, exit the dungeon area and walk towards Triq San Pawl. Turn right onto Triq San Pawl and head towards the main entrance of Mdina. Continue walking straight for about 200 meters until you reach the Mdina Gate. This route is straightforward and allows you to experience the charming streets of Mdina on your way.
