Walking
If you are starting from the Mdina Main Gate, walk through the gate and continue straight along the main street, Triq Villegaignon. This street will lead you through the heart of Mdina, where you can enjoy the historic architecture. Keep walking straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will find the beautiful St. Paul's Cathedral on your left. Continue past the cathedral and follow the road as it curves to the right onto Triq San Pawl.

As you walk down Triq San Pawl, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards St Agatha's Esplanade. When you reach the end of Triq San Pawl, turn left onto Triq San Andrea. Follow this road until you reach the end, where you will find a small square. From here, take the path leading towards the esplanade. You will see the stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Once you are on St Agatha's Esplanade, continue walking straight ahead. The Blue Mdina Door is located at the far end of the esplanade. You will recognize it by its vibrant blue color against the stone backdrop. It's a popular photo spot, so be sure to take a moment to enjoy the view!
