If you are starting from the Mdina Main Gate, head straight along the main road, Triq Villegaignon. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach the small square known as Pjazza San Publiju. From there, take the right path leading to Triq Mesquita. Follow this road for another 3 minutes, and you will see the grand entrance to the Mdina fortress on your right.

If you are at the Mdina Cathedral, exit the Cathedral grounds and turn left onto Triq Villegaignon. Walk straight for approximately 2 minutes until you reach Pjazza San Publiju. Take a right and follow Triq Mesquita for about 3 minutes. The Mdina fortress will be ahead on your right.
