Walking
From the center of Mgarr, head towards the bus stop located in the square. Once there, take the bus heading to Rabat. The bus number you need is 41 or 42. Enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Mdina. After disembarking, walk up the hill towards Mdina's main entrance, known as the Mdina Gate. Enter through the gate, and once you’re inside Mdina, follow the signs pointing towards the Carmelite Priory. It's a short walk from the gate, and you will find it located on Triq IL Villegaignon. The entire journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Mgarr. Start at the bike rental shop in the town center and head towards the main road that leads to Mdina. Follow the cycle path that runs parallel to the road. It’s a moderate ride uphill, and you’ll enjoy beautiful views along the way. When you reach Mdina, park your bicycle at one of the designated areas near the Mdina Gate. After parking, walk through the gate, and the Carmelite Priory will be a short distance ahead on Triq IL Villegaignon. The total biking time should take around 25-35 minutes.
