Getting There

Walking
From the center of Paola, head north on Triq il-Kbira towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Triq il-Mina. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Mina and follow the signs toward Valletta. After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll find the bus stop for the 81 or 82 bus, which will take you to Valletta. Board the bus and enjoy a scenic ride. Once you arrive in Valletta, get off at the 'Valletta City Gate' stop. From there, walk towards the entrance of the city and follow the signs to the Grandmaster Palace, which is located at the end of Merchant Street, just a short walk away. The Grandmaster Palace Courtyard is located inside the palace complex. Make sure to check the opening hours before your visit.

From Paola, make your way to the nearest bus stop. You can take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta, which runs frequently. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Valletta, disembark at the 'Valletta City Gate' stop. From there, walk straight through the main entrance of Valletta and head down Republic Street until you reach the intersection with Merchant Street. Turn left onto Merchant Street, and you'll see the Grandmaster Palace on your right. The entrance to the courtyard is accessible from within the palace grounds.
