From St. Julian's, walk to the nearest bus stop which is located on the main road (Triq Sant'Andrija). Take the bus number 202 or 203 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Valletta, transfer to bus number 51, 52, 53, or 54 towards Mdina. Get off at the 'Mdina' stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Bastion Square. Follow the signs towards the Mdina Old City, and once you enter, keep walking until you reach the square.

If you prefer to walk, head towards the coastline and follow the promenade towards Sliema. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Valletta, which should take about 15 minutes. Once in Valletta, you can either choose to walk to the bus station and catch a bus to Mdina or take a taxi from the ferry terminal directly to Mdina, which will take around 30 minutes.
