    Walking

    From the center of Tarxien, head north towards Triq il-Knisja. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Triq il-Wied. Turn right and follow this road until you reach the bus stop. You can take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the last stop in Valletta, which is the main bus terminus. From the bus terminus, walk towards Republic Street and then turn right onto St Mark Street. Continue walking for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Fortifications Interpretation Centre on your left.

    Start at the Tarxien bus stop located on Triq il-Knisja. Board a bus heading towards Valletta (bus numbers 81 or 82). The journey will take around 15 minutes. Disembark at the Valletta bus terminus. From there, exit and head towards Republic Street. Walk straight until you reach St Mark Street. Turn right onto St Mark Street and walk for about 5 minutes. The Fortifications Interpretation Centre will be on your left at the address VGX5+VM3, St Mark Street.
