Car
From Three Cities, head towards the main road leading to Valletta. Follow signs for 'Birkirkara' and 'Mdina'. Take the exit towards Mdina. Continue on the main road until you see signs for 'Mdina'. The fortress is located at VCP3+F4W, Triq Mesquita, L-Imdina MDN 1150. There is parking available near the entrance, but note that parking may incur a fee.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Take Bus Route 81 or 83 from any bus stop in the Three Cities area towards Valletta. Get off at the Valletta Bus terminus. From there, transfer to Bus Route 51, 52, or 53, which goes directly to Mdina. The bus stop closest to the fortress is 'Mdina'. The total bus fare is approximately €1.50 for a single journey, and buses run frequently throughout the day.
Taxi
You can also opt for a taxi from Three Cities to Mdina. This is a more convenient option if you have luggage or prefer a direct route. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic and will cost around €20-€30. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
