Getting there

Car

Start your journey in the Three Cities area, specifically from Valletta. Take the main road towards the Sliema area, following signs for the A2 road. Continue on the A2 until you reach the junction for Mellieħa. Follow the signs directing you to Mellieħa Bay, which is approximately a 30-minute drive (around 20 km). Upon arrival, you can find parking near the beach area, but note that parking fees may apply, typically around €1-€2 per hour.

Public Transportation - Bus

From the Three Cities, head to the nearest bus station. You will need to take bus route 133 towards Mellieħa. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Once on the bus, make sure to keep an eye on the stops and get off at the Mellieħa Bay stop. The fare is typically around €1.50 for a single journey. After disembarking, follow the signs to the beach, which is just a short walk away.

Combination - Car and Walking

If you prefer a scenic drive, take the coastal road from the Three Cities towards Mellieħa.
