If you are starting from the Upper Barracca Gardens, walk down the steps towards the city center. Once you reach Merchant Street, turn left and continue straight until you reach Republic Street. Turn right onto Republic Street and walk towards the National Library of Malta. As you pass the library, continue straight until you see a small square on your left. The Václav Havel Memorial is located in this square, easily recognizable by its unique structure.

From the Valletta Waterfront, head towards the city by walking up the stairs or taking the lift. Once you reach the top, walk along the main road towards the entrance of the city. Continue past Fort St. Elmo and into the city center. When you reach the City Gate, turn left onto Republic Street and walk until you find the small square on your left where the Václav Havel Memorial is situated.
