    From Xlendi, head northeast on Triq il-Wied towards Triq il-Bajja. Continue straight for about 2 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Mithna. Follow this road for approximately 5 km until you arrive at another roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq l-Imdina. Continue for about 1 km and you will see signs for Xwejni Salt Pans. The salt pans will be located on your right, just off the main road. Parking is available nearby.

    From Xlendi, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the main road (Triq il-Bajja). Take bus route 91 or 92 towards Victoria. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Żebbuġ stop. From there, it is a 15-minute walk towards Xwejni Salt Pans. Head northeast along Triq il-Mithna, then turn right onto Triq l-Imdina. Continue walking until you see signs for the salt pans.
