Walking
If you're starting from the Annapolis City Dock, head northeast on Main Street towards the intersection with West Street. Turn left onto West Street and continue walking until you reach the bus stop at West Street and Calvert Street. Here, board the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus Route 70 towards Washington, D.C. Stay on the bus for about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Fort Totten Metro Station, transfer to the Green Line towards Branch Avenue. After a few stops, get off at the Georgia Avenue-Petworth Metro Station. From there, exit the station and walk north on Georgia Avenue NW for about 10 minutes. Turn left onto Rock Creek Church Road NW, and you will find President Lincoln's Cottage at 140 Rock Creek Church Rd NW.

From the Annapolis Town Center, walk to the nearest MTA bus stop on West Street. Take the MTA Route 70 bus towards Washington, D.C. The bus ride will take approximately an hour.
