If you're driving, start from downtown Washington, DC. Head northeast on 14th St NW toward U St NW. Merge onto US-50 E via the ramp on the left to Annapolis. Take the exit toward Maryland 295 S, then merge onto Baltimore-Washington Parkway (MD-295 S). Take the exit toward I-295 S and merge onto I-295 S. Continue on I-295 S for about 4 miles. Take exit 4B on the left toward NY-295 S. Merge onto I-95 S. Keep right to stay on I-95 S, following signs for Richmond. Exit onto New York Ave NE (US-50 E). Continue on New York Ave NE, then take a left onto 14th St NE. Finally, turn right onto Quincy St NE, and you will find the Franciscan Monastery at 1400 Quincy St NE, Washington, DC 20017.

Public Transportation
To reach the Franciscan Monastery using public transportation, start by finding the nearest Metro station. If you are near the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the Fort Totten Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Green Line towards Branch Ave and travel to the next stop, which is the Takoma Metro Station. Exit and walk to the bus stop for the 62 or 63 bus. Board the bus and ride it until you reach the Quincy Street NE and 14th Street NE stop. From there, walk a short distance to the Franciscan Monastery located at 1400 Quincy St NE.
