Turn left onto E Lombard Street, and walk straight until you reach the intersection with N Charles Street. Turn right onto N Charles Street and continue walking for about half a mile. You'll see the Washington Monument at 699 Washington Pl on your left, situated in the Mount Vernon neighborhood.
