Getting There

• Walking

  From the Inner Harbor, head northwest on Light Street toward E Pratt Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with E Lombard Street. Turn left onto E Lombard Street, and walk straight until you reach the intersection with N Charles Street. Turn right onto N Charles Street and continue walking for about half a mile. You'll see the Washington Monument at 699 Washington Pl on your left, situated in the Mount Vernon neighborhood.

• Public Transportation - Light RailLink

  Walk to the nearest Light RailLink station, which is the 'Baltimore Arena' station located just a short distance from the Inner Harbor. Board the Light RailLink toward Hunt Valley. Get off at the 'Lexington Market' stop. From there, walk north on N Paca Street, then turn left onto E Lexington Street, and finally turn right onto N Charles Street. The Washington Monument will be on your left at 699 Washington Pl. Note that the Light RailLink fare is $1.80 for a one-way trip.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  Find the nearest bus stop in the Inner Harbor area. You can catch the 'CityLink Yellow' bus towards Towson. Get off at the 'Charles & Centre' stop. From there, walk south along N Charles Street for approximately 5 minutes until you reach the Washington Monument at 699 Washington Pl. The bus fare is $1.80 for a one-way trip.
