Getting There

• Public Transit

  If you're starting from the Baltimore Convention Center, walk to the nearest Light RailLink station, which is 'Convention Center'. Board the Light RailLink heading towards 'Hunt Valley'. After two stops, get off at 'Camden Yards'. From Camden Yards, transfer to the Metro SubwayLink at the 'Camden Station'. Take the Metro SubwayLink towards 'Johns Hopkins Hospital'. After two stops, disembark at 'Charles Center'. Once you exit the station, head southeast on Baltimore Street towards Calvert Street. Continue walking until you reach the corner of Baltimore and Calvert Streets. The General Alfred Booth Fountain is located at the intersection near the entrance of the War Memorial Plaza, a short walk from the station.

• Walking

  If you are near the Inner Harbor, start at the National Aquarium. Head northwest on E Pratt St toward S Light St. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Calvert St and continue for 0.2 miles. The General Alfred Booth Fountain will be on your right at the War Memorial Plaza. It’s a lovely walk that will take about 10-15 minutes.

• Bus

  From the Baltimore Penn Station, walk to the bus stop at the station. Take the MTA Maryland bus number 1 toward 'BWI Airport' and get off at 'Calvert St & Baltimore St' stop. From there, walk one block southwest towards the War Memorial Plaza. The General Alfred Booth Fountain will be located there. This journey should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
